what a way

to spend the weekend... A trip to the doc and almost the whole day lying on the bed..
Ya man.. For no reason, fri morning wake up with a running nose and basically i sneeze non-stop for the whole day.. Reached home in the evening, pop the yellow pill and go to sleep super early, hoping that the next day everything will be fine.
Next day and everything became worse.. Running noise + sore throat + fever + bodyache = COMBO

Seen the doc and becomes $38 poorer.. haiz.. there goes my weekend.. no soccer today.. and lucky there's no photoshoot today.. phew...

Yup, let's pray for my buddy little princess, Chevel.
Its been a week and She's still in KK due to some test on G6PD and jaundice stuff.
I believe God have his plan and will heal her soon.

*Tired*

I'm super tired from the shoot today..
Tired from the endless walking and the glaring sun..
Did not take a lots of shots today but i totally enjoyed the whole process..
The photography chit-chat with Alex and Kenneth are totally priceless!
Bought out 2 lens today, wide and portrait lens..
Wanted to explore my L baby but still not very used to the wide angle..
I think its more suitable for travel shots..
Hmm.. For my HongKong trip, I might just only bring my L baby and forced myself to adapt to it... Ha.. Just like how I adapt to shooting with primes..
and I still love Prime!!!!
N i decided not to get anymore zoom/tele lens.. It will only be prime! :)
but no lens for the next 6 months or so.. cos i'm on a strict budget..

Ok, talking abt the shoot today.. Today's a very hot day and shooting @ Little India proves to be pretty challenging.. Instead of shooting with the "Festival of Lights" theme, i ended up taking quite a bit of random shots instead.. Ha.. and I realise that I took a lot of individal shots of Alex.. and the shots turned out pretty ok.. Will be posting in the next couple of days.. Cheers!

STOMP is the name..

Yup, bought tixs to watch STOMP 3 months ago and the money is totally well spend..
Performance was superb and they totally keep the spectators going..
and we as audience are kept very much involved in the show.. :)
Totally amazed that nice music can come out of all kinds of household/kitchen stuff!!
Photography is strictly prohibited during the show so only managed to sneak in a shot or 2 before the show starts.

I'm going green... well almost..

To control my diet and reduce my bad cholesterol level, I'm trying to go green...

and take in more green stuff like veggie!

SPROUTS

Yup, had a great time shooting a dance event at Victoria theatre today. Event is called SPROUTS and today is the finals for local choreographers to show their stuff. Today's shoot was a challenge in the sense that Video Recording was ongoing and so our movement was thus limited. I've only bought a 35 and 50mm with me.. so clearly i can't zoom in on the dancers.. :(

Luckily Justin loaned a 200mm and he's able to cover that range. Probably I should consider loaning a zoom lens for future shoots.

Anyway I made do with my 50mm and is pretty ok with the results. I'm still busy sorting out the pics and yup, one pic from the event.. more pics to come in the weeks ahead.
