Today Wifey sms me saying that she is very sad over a certain issue..

I told her that she have already done her part..
Things she wanted to say.. she have already say...
Concerns that she have... she have already made it known...

I always believe that One is responsible for one's own action.

went for my 7th blood donation today with CTH & AC..

Went to the HQ @ HSA..
Somehow i feel that the out station nurses are more experience than the HQ ones..
During today session, it was the 1st time that i actually felt syringe like object
in my veins during the session.

Not painful but i guess a bit uncomfortable..
AC also commented that this is the 2nd time he donated blood @ HSA and
he felt the same way too...

Prob we shld stick to donating @ CSIT only..
but then again, this little discomfort is nothing compared to one packet of blood
being able to save 3 lives.

So I shall try to stick to my 3 months, 1 donation routine.

and so i met up with Jolene 2 days back..
Chatted a bit @ the coffeeshop near her place before going over to her place..
So wanted to see her Huskies...

And again.. there was 3 mins of terror when the huskies saw me in the hse and basically they chiong towards me and tried to climb on me...
Damn scary 3 mins..

Jolene was saying..
'relax.. 3 mins only.. they are just curious'

and indeed... nearly 3 mins and they tone down and behave like i dun exist..
haha..
But of coz, they will come over to my side for me to sayang them... and they will whine a bit when i stop sayanging them... haha..
Totally adore them to bits!

But the sad thing is that due to some circumstances, Jolene needs to rehouse the 3 dogs
aka look for responsible new owners..

I feel sad lah... sad for both Jolene and her 3 huskies..
Jolene had Woofie for abt 8 years, Mocha and Barkley for abt 4 years and now she got no choice but to give them up..
I can see tears forming at Jolene's eyes while she was talking abt this..

Damn sad lah..
I don't think its possible to look for someone that can take in all 3 huskies..
so chances are that they will end up in 3 different homes..
so basically its like 3 huskies living together for years to suddenly go their own ways with the possibility of not seeing their mates again..

Haiz... IF my hse is huge and i have the financial capability, I would try my best to help..
For now, i'm considering adopting one of them..

Will need to discuss with Wifey on this cos this will be a lifelong commitment and there are a whole lot of issues that we need to take into consideration..

The past Sunday was packed packed with activities..

Went for morning service @ church before rushing for Javier's 1st year birthday Party Shoot.
I knew Jack since sec 3.
Its real nice to see good old frds and its especially nice seeing them happily settling down
and setting up a family..

Ok.. time for some story..
Still rem my mum telling me that when she gave birth to me, dad was working and upon hearing abt my incoming.. He rush to the hospital and he din know that he wore different matching slippers to KK!

Although Dad tends to be very quiet, but i totally treasures all little conversation that we have between us...

When I was still staying full time @ pasir ris, most sat i will be watching EPL and Dad will always make an attempt to watch 10mins of the match and talk abt Rooney, Rooney..
He knows I support Utd and I guess from the papers, he assumes that Rooney is a super striker.

During the last world cup, my dad actually sat thru an entire match with me even though he understand almost zero abt soccer!
And i remembered him even giving me a call on my mobile to talk to me abt the previous nite matches which he hears from radio.. haha..
This is something special cos my Dad don't usually uses the phone.

I think a lot of time, the role of a Dad seems to be like a defender in a soccer match..
aka unsung hero..
Meaning... u defend the goal well and its taken as its your job..
but when u let in a goal, everybody will be stabbing your back..

I'm glad that i made an effort to communicate with my dad..
and i totally treasures such moment..

Bought some old sch cakes from a run down bakery @ Bedok85..
As much as i like Ang Moh fanciful cakes, I still like oldies cakes!

Mum was saying that when she got married, these types of cakes was used during
her wedding ...
and it cost like 40cents per piece @ that time..

2 weeks of maths and I don't understand almost 60% of the lectures..

On a brighter note, I'm looking forward to the shoot on Sun!
It will be a blast!

Just back from sch..

Digital Design today was pretty good..
Good in the sense that I understand today's lesson and tutor was very knowledgeable in the way the tutorial was conducted..

Always wanted to try their famous Peri Peri chicken..
and indeed the chicken is good!
texture is tender and JUICY!

We could choose between lemon&herb, mild, medium or super spicy for the chicken..
and being not a fan of spicy food, we(Dav & me) decided to go for the lemon&herb. :)

Luckily they do have the spicy sauce for dips which Wifey totally loves!

The sides are nice.. especially for the corn and potatoes salad..

Verdict 4/5..
Minus 1 point cos i thought the portion could be more generous.

1st week of sch and we are already starting our revision today..
9am to 12noon - revision/discuss tutorial
2pm to 6pm - Lateral thinking course

Hard to stay awake after lunch for a 4 hour theory seminar...
As for the content of the seminar, the feeling is like attending a IPAM lesson on a weekend..

Oh... and I'm in need of Maths Calculus textbooks... especially on vectors..
Any kind soul willing to loan me?

today i finally decided to see the chi doc for a feet injury i sustain few months back..
Thought it was nothing serious till i started feeling the pain every morning when i wake up..

So now..
feet all bandaged up.. at least for this 2 days..
hope to make a complete recovery soon.

1 week of sem2, 2 lectures and i already feel very lost..
very very lost indeed..

Mon lesson on Electronics and i was already knock out in the world of Theorem..
Doesn't help that the Dr was rushing thru like a bullet train..
ending the lesson an hour early...

Today lesson was on Digital Design..
1st half of the lesson was still pretty smooth..
till we comes to the 10010101101010101...
binary, octal, hex...
1s, 2s...
Goosh... totally lost...

So glad that our study grp is coming in early this sat morning to do some revision..
i need help.

Prob sometimes it's not very wise to speak whats in my mind.. probably.
But wouldn't that make me a hypocrite.

With the Q number(55!), wait to see doc..
and then Q to get your medicine before
the final Q to make your payment..

The only good thing is that the $$$ to see Doc is pretty affordable.

and what better way to start sch with sore throat and running nose...
oh... and fever now...

Today Lecturer was speaking like a bullet train and lesson ended @ 830 instead of 930..
Really gotta do some reading up..
Not easy to digest today's lesson!

Lonely planet

Places that I would love to go this year, if possible:
(1) Japan (may not be possible due to hse renovation $$$)
(2) Bali (Might just be possible.. maybe not..)
(3) Bangkok (Very possible cos planning to source for some home decor stuff )

Today I realised that my tummy is very very round...
round to an unacceptable standard...

Challenging myself to jog during lunchtime whenever possible
and to go on no fried stuff, no ice cream, no chocolate diet...

The challenge starts today!

1st day of work in 2011

Back to work for the 1st time in 2011.

Had a bz morning coz of some system screwing up but luckily i managed to resolved the issue.. well.. i think i did. ha..

Hit the gym this lunch time..
lousy stamina...
entered the gym later than Beng and left the gym earlier than him!
Sinful lunch of Bryani offset the jog i did!

Wanted to watch "The Tourist" with wifey after work but after hearing some +ve comment,decided to give it a miss and just had dinner instead..

Nice dinner and dessert to end the 1st working day of 2011!
