Hort Park Shoot

Finally had a chance to complete our Anderson wave and Hort Park walk today..

Great day for a nice sat morning walkabout but somehow today 90% of my pics dun turn out the way i wanted it to be.. So I guess I'll just post the few that are passable..

I've been to this place(as in this exact WC) 3 times in my life.. 1st in 1999 for some course during my Army times... 2nd during my pre-wedding shoot in 2008(hey, the shoot wasn't in the toilet ok, its at the entrance of the toilet)... and the 3rd(and probably last time) in 2009 during one of the photoshoot with the gang...

Gotta say the toilet now is creepy... but still sad to say, this place will be demolished very soon for the aviation hub...

1st feel of the pic gives me a abandon fortress kinda feel... Singapore could be nicer with more of such structure outlining this tiny island..

Have you ever tried..

making a decision which you thought would certainly be the right one and yet you get @#$* for it? The feeling sucks... Time and time, these things inevitable make one feel immune.

P.S : I should cut down on such crap and just upload my pics like what a photo journal should function as. Yes I shld.

SUNSAD

This was the spot where we are supposed to get the 'perfect' sunset shot but as shown in the pic, our beloved sun disappeared into the huge formation of cloud! So this is indeed a 'Sunsad' pic for the 4 of us.

AirBrush Lesson 1 - Control.. Control.. Control..

Today the whole gang of us went back to office for the Load Test exercise.. Reached office @ 9am(This is much earlier than my church service time) and most of my colleagues are already there.. Anyway suppose to do a switch to the temp power source and sway sway.. tried to switch 3 times and all 3 times the circuit breaker trips. Anyway I suppose its God blessing in a way too, better to trip now then to trip later when all of us are 'working' in the office later right? ha..
Anyway decided to make do with the temp power and hope that our UPS can really tahan the short 5 mins power switch else its a whole lot of work that we gotta do..

God Bless. Everything went on pretty smoothly and to sum it out.. We reached office at 9am, did almost 30 mins of work and its standby in the office all the way till 4pm..

The idling duration may seem boring to some.. but luckily those who came today were those who totally click and thus there was damn lotsa crap talking today..

And the highlight of the day was, AIRBRUSH! Yup, in fact, to prepare for this long day, almost each of us bought a Gundam and got our very very nice chief engineer to cut,sandpaper and model it for us(Thank you, Miss Chee!!). So Peter went thru with us the basic of airbrushing and there we go, we begin to airbrush our own coloured version of Gundam.. Think mine looks kinda crappy due to my shaky hands and lack of control.. Ha.. But once its done, I'll still post a pic of it!! Ha.. Next Sat gotta OT again, so i guess that will be the day where all of us complete our Gundam(provided nothing trips on sat).. Stay Tuned!!
