supposed to have a birthday dinner for laoshi but due to unforeseen issues, it was postphoned.. and coincidentally Wifey OT so we decided to bring Naomi and my in law to meet Wifey at Novena for a quick dinner..
Had dinner at Fish & Co and I was surprised that the restaurant is pretty empty even though its dinner time... anyway food was decent.. and its real challenging trying to keep naomi seated!

a bit beng it seems...

Lecture ended early yesterday and so classmates & i decided to head down for some Pizza at Rocky's Sunset way.. The 1st time I went to this joint was prob 3-4 yrs ago when AC recommended us the place. The pizza WAS one of the best that I had.. The taste and fragrant of the cheese was mind blowing.. Ever since then I still went there at least 1-2 times a yr but after yesterday dinner, I don't think I will make another visit again...
We ordered cheese stick, soup and one of their signature pizza called rocky's mountain. The soup was very bland... The cheese stick and the pizza just doesn't taste right... I dunno whether there's a change of chef, change of ingredient used or what but the taste is simply not there anymore... and our verdict is that its actually worst than the "241" pizza... Anyway i did feedback to the chef on the drop of standard. Hope they could do some review and bring back the old taste.

Tues & the haze/weather seems pretty good today. Thank God for the good weather and hope it remains or becomes even better for the rest of the week. Need good weather to get my ass back to my saddle and give it a good ride!!! Its been 2 weeks since I've changed my riding orientation and I really need 1 - 2 rides to get myself comfortable with my new setup...

Oh.. and i have a FYP interim presentation this evening... hope that everything will turn out well.

Breathe easy~

Its been a while since we have good weather and today finally it appear that the sky is clear and we can finally breathe easy again... The PSI seems rather good..

BUT folks, pls take note or rather don't bother too much on the PSI value... The value that is of more concern is the PM2.5 value.. These are real real harmful particles that can attack our lungs and bloodstream... so EVEN if the PSI value is low BUT if the PM2.5 is above 40, pls pls pls no outdoor activities... Its those things that we can't see that kills us slowly..

just back from cell grp little trip to Malacca.. The haze condition at Malacaa fluctuates but generally its way much better than Sin. This is my 1st time to Malacca and I gotta say that i quite like the place... I love the rustic feel of the buildings and i see myself going back there again.. this time round, I hope to stay at Jonkers street and hope to finish exploring Jonkers street and prob cafe hop a bit..

Oh.. and its real nice to see Naomi when we are back. :)

Give me a N95!

Seriously with the crazy haze, N95 facemask is much harder to buy than the recent Hello Kitty craze!

After work went to Northpt's Watson and Guardian to look for N95 facemask and toddler facemask to find that its sold out and they couldn't give a firm answer on when the new stocks will come in.. Walked to Yishun polyclinic to find that it closes at 430pm... and then walked to KTPH pharmacy to realised that they don't bring in N95... so I asked the nurse whether the normal facemask that they carry is good enough and was told its good enough.. I then replied that the straits times reported that normal facemask is unable to keep away the dust particle and only N95 could do the job.. The nurse was very firm and she said the normal facemask is good enough COS EVERYONE IS WEARING IT... hmm... not convincing but still I bought 2 packs of the adults normal facemask + 2 pack of toddlers facemask...

Reached home, showed Naomi the cartoonish facemask but she ran and refused to wear it!!! haiz... now the challenge is to make Naomi wear it!
