The calling to get myself inked is getting stronger by the day..
and its not a impulsive one.. for many years(wifey knows me very well!), i wanted to get myself inked but just din do it...
Even though the calling is strong, there r many factors making me not to do it...
probably the number 1 concern is Naomi...

Celebrated Wifey XXth birthday today by having lunch at five & dime..
Wanted to try out this place for quite some time after reading some pretty good review abt it..
and so based on my android google map, we made our way to five & dime by taking BUS54 from Far East.
5 stops and there we are.. 1st customer of the day.. haha..
Wanted to try their signature Mac & Cheese but unfortunately that is for the dinner menu.. but we were lucky as their lunch menu did not disappoint.. we ordered the fish & chips and the corn beef hash...
Verdict... The fish & chips is superb and the corn beer hash is pretty good too..
Customer service is superb too.. and I'm sure that we will be back for their dinner menu soon!

Finally checked out this dining placed called "Made by Bruno Menard" today after hearing pretty good review abt it.

We reached at 1130am and were the 1st customer of the day. In terms of customer service, i would say that their staff were very attentive to us. However~~ the food seems to take ages to arrive so i wonder how do they handle the lunch and dinner crowd. hmm.

We ordered the Chocolate shake which is damn damn damn good.. thick and bitter.. just the way i like it and easily the best Chocolate shake i had by far.

Ordered the 3 little pigs based on recommendations and well... i would say i had better pork burger at a much lower price... Wifey had the farmers sandwich and again, i don't think its fantastic...

Don't think i will return again... maybe perhaps just for the shake. maybe.

This is the 1st time in my life that I hear about bus drivers in Singapore going on strikes.

On who is wrong or right, it remains to be seen. 

Not really right to jump straight into the nationality thing straight away~

But whatever the case, this should not be happening in Singapore.. or at least it din happen before.

Haiz.. hope this is not just a prelude on what to come..

A couple of months back, i was at one of the adidas store and come upon this cycling jersey which i thought seems pretty nice. And I was thinking that since I'm into cycling recently, probably it would be great to get one and not wear my not very glam singlet to cycle.. haha.. especially when i cycle to MBS pretty frequent now.. and so i looked at the price tag and it cost a whopping $100+... thought it was too ex for a cycling top and gave it a missed.

And as luck had it, I was window shopping at Adidas outlet today as I reached too early for a dinner appointment and saw the jersey again.. and this time it was selling at a sale of $54.50!! so Mai Tu Liao... bought the only size that is available for this colour but figure i gotta do months of situps before i can wear it confidently! hiak hiak..

and so with Wifey posted to a new worksite, today is the 1st time i need to be up slightly earlier to give Naomi her 1st feed of the morning..

and i gotta say, its quite nice having a little bonding session with Naomi just before i go work. :)

Naomi's been nursing a very bad cough till she's super cranky lately..

Had a couple of puking incident and although i'm glad that she is puking out her phlegm as well, but its still heart wreaking to hear her cry and mumbling out her complaints...

We officially completed our TG3001 module yesterday which span across 3 semesters.

Did our final presentation for the module yesterday and a couple of us find it hard to control our laughter when our 'champion' mentioned how he improved team work and report writing via the Group Project module... well...

We were blessed to have Prof Chor as our mentor for this TG3001 module and she has been a understanding motherly figure to us.. Hopefully we can take up her modules next year.

Tonight will also mark the closing chapter of another module called "Group Project".

We'll be giving our final presentation at 7pm tonight and after that, its a wrap.

Exams on the 24th Nov and 7th Dec to wrap up this sem..

Looking forward to spending time with Naomi & Wifey during the break! 

i strongly believe that children need to have respect for their parents..

the slightest and most minimum form of respect is thru the way one speak to their parent.

i really really really can't stand children talking to their parent as if their parent owe them money like tat!

come on... without your parent, u r NOTHING.. ZERO.. NOTHING...

its as simple as that...

R.E.S.P.E.C.T

Every Sunday we will make it a point to make a trip home(my parents) for either lunch or dinner.

Its a great time for my mum & dad to see Naomi and bond with her..

Looking at their expression, I can tell that they love Naomi very much..

It was great to have a mini lunch outing at Airport on Deepavali where Mum can see Naomi again. 

Talked to mum on the phone and I know she is super bored at home.. 

Nowadays besides doing some cleaning job at the clinic every morning, she does housekeeping for 1 family which takes up half a day per week. 

Other than that, she will be at home pretty much doing nothing and waiting for the day to pass. 

It doesn't help that my dad isn't the chatty kinda guy..

I'm glad that we have Naomi in our life to spice up my parents live...

I told Wifey before that our parents deserve to have grandchildren 

and we are blessed to have 1 for them :)
