abt 2 months back
A photographer from some bridal studio told me that my frd is very LUCKY to have the bridal studio assigning him for his wedding day shoot because he uses his own gears and he is using expensive lens with expensive body...

hmm...
I saw the photos posted yesterday...
and i personally don't think that expensive lens/body = Guaranteed Good shots
Just my personal opinion. :)

Which is why I always like to see Pple with PnS shooting and taking much better pics than Pple who randomly buys a DSLR and takes not flattening pics.

Wedding Lunch shoot at Sentosa today.

Today's weather was HOT!!!
And i did the mistake of wearing a LONG sleeve shirt to this assignment.

Less than 10 mins and I'm already folding up my sleeves..
haha...

Today's shoot left me perspiring with sticky camera and lens..
But I totally loves today shoot.
The Indon Couple, Joni & Julia are very sweet and nice to work with even though
today is the 1st time we meet.

And i think i hit my personal record today..
This morning I woke up @ 830.
Had a cup of hot milo...
went to sentosa..
Shoot from 1030 to ard 3..
Went home download the photos..
and had my 1st meal(dinner) @ SKB hse!

Power rite?

Back to sch after one week and I already feel rusty..

Out of 3 modules, I'm having problem with 2!

Really need to motivate myself and buck up..

bad start to a monday morning...
Again seeing people who are not cute but trying to ACT cute..
Mooooooooo....

2 weeks back, Mum told me that Dad asked her to find one day to go
watch the movie "Its a great great world" together..

Real surprise that dad wanted to go to the cinema..
Hmm.. I don't think Dad have been to a cinema for show for the past 25 yrs?

Mum was asking me to check on the cinemas thats screening the show and
how to go abt to purchase the tixs.. She even wanted to go one day early to recee downtown east cinema so that she won't be lost on the actual movie day.. haha..

So i thought why not Wifey and I joined as well... in this way, I'll just settle all the logistic stuff and we can go enjoy the show together as a family...

And i really can't recall when was the last time i went for movies with both my mum & dad..

and so we caught the 5:15pm show today.
Surprisingly to me, the movie was pretty good..
In fact, this is the 1st local production that I actually bought tixs to watch. :)

Hands down, this movie kicks all of jack Neo production's asses..

Movie aside, it was a great short outing for me..
getting to spend quality time with dad..
At the same time, can really see that dad have aged a lot...
sad but this is life.

Let's just treasure the moment. :)

Pizza time!

With the recommendation from Wifey, I had my 1st Domino's Pizza today!

Verdict...
Its delicious!

Personally think that it tastes better than Pizza Hut..
But so far, the best Pizza I had is at Clementi Sunset Way..
Forgotten the name tho.. ha..

(They even have a LCD that indicates the status of your order)

Ok... gotta have healthy food for the rest of the week..

Drinking session @ Tiong's hse yesterday was great!

Real nice just chilling @ his garden..
Having beer, wine... and chatting literally under the stars!

Hopefully we can keep this tradition going and prob make it a yearly thing.
Most impt is this group of buddies 'click' and we can talk abt basically anything... or everything!

Mouth's

3rd day of Lunar New Year

Dim Sum lunch @ Mouth's Kitchen to celebrate Mum's and Bro's Birthday..
Wanted to go East Ocean but too bad its fully booked..
so we gave Mouth's a try!

Verdict....
The food is delicious..
But for the price, probably East Ocean would be a better choice...

The 1st 2 days of Lunar new year was tiring...

Visited 6 venues on the 1st day and ard 5 venues on the 2nd day...

Its a yearly family tradition thing..
and even thought I'm feeling real tired, but i'm grateful that these are things that
we are doing together as a family...

If Dad and Mum did not complain abt being tired, I see no reason for me to complain.
And i'm real grateful that Wifey went with us 3 years in a row..

Wifey is not used to this much traveling during CNY..
So here goes...

Ok..
This CNY leaves me with a heavy heart...
in the sense that we visited 3 old folks home to visit our relatives..

I mean... Its real sad to see folks lying in old folks home...
They shld be at home, enjoying the love and warmth of their loves ones...

Most of the folks look helpless.. sitting in their wheelchair or lying on their bed just waiting for time to fly pass them...

Sad seeing these.. but yet there is nothing i can do to help...
ok lah... it doesn't help feeling emo...

Most impt is for us to treasure all our loved loves...
So everybody out there...
Go spread some love...
esp to your partner,siblings and of coz your parents...
Without them... U would be.... nothing... yup... nothing!

Similar to previous years, we always have to eat early cos Dad still gotta do
his taxi shift at ard 5+pm..
As per normal, we had vegetarian steamboat and its great having everyone at the
table dining together!
