yest was quite a eventful nite ride with Loon having a tyre puncture and the whole ride delayed by an hour.. Realised that i'm a mechanic idiot when it comes to bike maintenance.. gonna see whether there's any 1 day bike maintenance course to attend in dec cos its gonna come in handy, i guess.. Anyway due to the delay, most of us did not ride coastal yest and instead, we rode to CV for supper and U turn back home via halus... Yest turnout was great tho... we had 4 mini velos and 3 mountain bikes... almost near to a full strength! and its quite shiok to ride as a big grp! Its also nice to see frds who usually struggled to keep pace improving their stamina on every rides..

Reached yishun at ard 115am and i decided to keep the bike at the new place and walk back to my in law place... Idea was to have a couple breakfast the next morning.... damn its a 30 mins walk home in the wee hrs of the night.. and best part was, we both overslept this morning!

Backlog post on the mini mooncake festival makan that we had at my parents place. Now its becoming a norm to have veggie steamboat twice a year on CNY and during mooncake festival. I think its a good thing to have the whole family dining together esp with my vegetarian dad who doesn't really likes to go out. Its also good for Naomi as she seldom see my bro/sis in law.. So its good bonding time for them lah..

Wifey was talking abt the super good reviews on 49 Seats pasta and so we decided to make a trip there for dinner.. Worried abt the long Q, we reached at 530pm to realised that it actually only opens at 6pm. So we waited.. and waited... and waited... 615pm and its still not opened yet... I was @#@!$#@! abt it when I log onto their facebook page to see a notification on their fb wall that its not open today!!! Goosh... If i din go into their fb pages, i would be waiting for ages.. anyway.. no complains.. my bad.. fb rules the world apparently... we will be back!

Good Nite World!

Naomi + me bonding day

And so yesterday I took child care leave to bring Naomi to see her chiropractor. Unfortunately Wifey was on course and thus could not be away. Anyway I think Naomi's condition is improving and hopefully a few more visits can resolve everything cos its pretty $$$ for weekly follow ups.

Its actually quite a challenge for me to bring Naomi out alone with her huge diapers bag + her stroller. As challenging as it can be, I actually quite enjoyed it even thou there are times when I need to carry her with one hand and balance the stroller with another hand going up/down the escalator!
The dist that we covered yest in walking was pretty impressive too.. haha.. Training for me!!!

I had a pretty late lunch at Sushi express at ard 2+ when Naomi was Zzz and i guess it was also a good timing for me to get some rest and me time. Naomi was super cute when she was refusing to take her afternoon nap while lying in her stroller. I asked her why isn't she sleeping and where she wants papa to bring her to.. She pointed and said 'there..' and almost immediately closed her eyes and knock off.. :) damn cute lah..

Anyway I also brought Naomi to visit my cousin shop called "By the Branch". We were lucky cos both my cousins were ard and they had fun with Naomi even tho it took a while for Naomi to warm up to them.. Oh.. and Naomi destroyed a couple of nice flower petals there!

We then walked to International Place to wait for wifey to be released from her course to bring Naomi to see the lanterns display in Chinatown. Unfortunately, I was recalled back to office before we could made it to the lantern display. It was a spoiler lah but wifey sportingly brought Naomi to see the lanterns while i make my way back to office since we already promised Naomi to bring her there. :)
