Moment
This is one moment that I have to document down and one that I don't wanna forget.
and so this evening I was OT-ing a bit in the office when Naomi gave me a call on the mobile, telling me that its raining and ask me to faster come home.. I told her that I have a dinner appointment in the evening and that I'll be home late... Naomi kinda went slient and din't speak.. and the next thing i know, Naomi just burst out crying... saying that she wants papa.... ... Super heart breaking to hear her cry and so I pack my stuff and faster made my way home just to see, hug and spend 20 mins with her before I rush off for my dinner appointment.. Even tho I was in a rush and I could only see Naomi for 20 mins, but its all worth it knowing that my little girl misses me... Gave Naomi a big hug and I'm so happy to see her cheeky smile when she sees me.. Accompanied her and did some simple craft with her before rushing out... Love Naomi so much.. dunno how am i gonna survive not seeing and hugging her during the coming Seoul trip.Friday, August 22, 2014
2 weeks to Seoul
Exactly 2 weeks from now, I would be at Seoul and probably just checked into the hotel. Pretty excited abt this being the 1st trip to Korea but I'm sure that I'm gonna miss my little Naomi... Been very fickle minded abt whether to bring her along but this being a shopping trip, i guess the wiser decision would be to leave her at home with my in law. And maybe Naomi have enough of travelling for this year.. twice in a year(Bali & Desaru). or maybe not. :p we'll see..

Find your ABCs
Busy Busy day in the office today.. Busy and things were not very smooth sailing.. But still trying to keep my cool and take things one at a time.. And time in the office passes just like that with me not being able to complete what I've planned for today. argh! There's always a tomorrow, right? :p
Back home and I'm always looking forward to seeing my little cheerful Naomi.. Bought some chalks and conducted a game which i've thought of to engage her in Alphabets learning. I call it "Find your ABCs". haha
Basically I wrote the alphabets on the corridor cement floor and asked Naomi to read and circle those that she knows.. Pretty engaging actually.. but quite upset to realized that she's forgotten some of the letters which she knew when she was much younger.. Alphabets like R, T, U.. But there's always her killer letters like V, P, L, I which she never seems to master.. Shall try and make it a point to teach her while i can!

Scoot to National Stadium
An ad-hoc jio from Dav and off we went scooting from East Coast Park Car Park F3 to National Stadium and back. Its been a couple of months since I last scooted so I was pretty pleased that I was able to complete the scoot in one piece. And amazingly i felt that i can actually go further than that.. The good thing abt scooting is that while it is a form of lower body exercise, it isn't very siong and that you could actually explore places with it. So we explored and made our way to National Stadium and I gotta say I'm very very impressed with the Stadium. Its huge and it looks very impressive.. Had a glimpse inside the football stadium and it's stunning... Gonna check out whats the next sporting event and try to bring Naomi there to expose her to some sporting events.

5 Days of lessons!
Completed my 5 days of Netapp admin course @ Raffles Place finally.
Really dread going to Raffles Place in the morning... The morning MRT crowd is really pretty crazy..
I'm really missing my bicycle and of coz, missing the convenience of cycling to work... And I'll be bikeless for at least 2 more weeks.. Looking forward to getting onto the saddle again!

Bike SOLD
6 months ago, i put on an ad to sell my mini velo.. No one shown interest.. no low ballers even..
and yesterday i suddenly gotten 2 SMSes asking abt the availability of my bike... A few exchanges of sms and just like that, I delivered my bike to the guy's place and deal's done.
Its not easy to sell my mini velo.. not in terms of $ but in terms of emotional attachment.. afterall this was the bike that brought me back to cycling.. the bike that brought me to events such as bike rally & OCBC cycles.. the bike that brought me so many fun sat rides.. but unfortunately, I can only have 1 bike.. and technically I don't think I can go fast and furious forever.. and maybe its time to get a more compact ride and slow things down a bit.. a compact ride where I can give naomi a ride and give her a bit of more outdoor adventure... a compact ride which can bring me away from Singapore for leisure ride..
so stay tuned before the big reveal. :)
