Yup, thats the time that i reached TPY this morning for a Wedding Actual Day shoot.

Wedding of ZiChang & Kristine.

While I should be making use of this 3 hr lull period to rest, can't help but decided to start processing the photos.

It will be painful to do it 1 by 1 but everything is worth it when i get the results i want!

My 1st encounter with the recent sudden flooding that hit Singapore.

On leave and was supposed to fetch my students at bedok for an excursion to the Zoo..
Woke up in the morning and the rain was pretty bad.. thot that we could visit the Jurong Safra for their indoor playground instead of the Zoo..

And along the way to fetch my student, you can see that
the heavy rain is causing pretty big problems for our drainage system...

4 lanes beside Tanah Merah MRT changed into single lane due to the flood..
and i was damn worried that my car will stall.
And that's not the only roads flooded..
1st time driving in this condition and i tell you..
Its bad..
and to a certain extent, its scary..
sounds ridiculous but somehow i kinda have the tsunami kinda feeling when I drove thru the flooded roads...
Not a pleasant experience...

Heard from the radio that Boon Lay is also pretty badly flooded..
So ended up bringing the students to DTE instead..

Glad that they had fun at Xplore kids and when the sky cleared, was able to let
them play at the beach..

2nd atempt in this year to bring them to the Zoo... failed...

On a side note, my 3month old Dell died on me..

Have not hit the gym since last wed.
Supposed to gym yesterday but ended up going
for Chicken Chop lunch with colleagues @ S11.
And also had sinful McSpicy DOUBLE for dinner!

Shall not be tempted for IKEA and Durian smoothie this lunch!
Back to the gym today!

Solid's 41th Hatchday!

Celebrated Peter's 41th Birthday today..

Took half day and was supposed to have Dim Sum @ East Ocean but
thanks to the super flood @ Orchard, we made a detour to City Hall instead.

Bought Mika tixs 2 months back supposedly to surprise Wifey today but as usual,
Wifey found out beforehand... *anti climaz*

Anyway the concert was simply superb!
Super high energy performance from the man, MIKA himself!

Majority of the crowds were Ang Moh and everyone pretty much stand and
dance throughout the whole performance..
The stage setup, backdrop is just breath taking...
imagine MTV awards and u would know what i mean!

Totally worth every cent spent!
(Too bad Photography is not allowed during the performance!)

So today was another 3 hours of low morale moments for me.

Shall talk abt the highlights of the day instead!
Met up with office buddies and wifey for a dinner gathering @ Ippudo!!
Yeah, my first time there after hearing all the +ve review on the restaurant!
As usual, there's already a Q at abt 530pm and god bless,
we managed to get our seats within 20 mins!
Ordered a variety of their specialty Ramen,
were asked on the texture of the ramen that we wanted and we tried regular and hard.

Ramen was served pretty fast..
Smell is great and the taste is delicious!
The soup base is just nice and I almost finish up all the soup!
Char Siu is superbly done!

I would rate it 9/10 for their service and 8/10 for their ramen!
yum yum!

Afterwhich we shopped a bit for my TIGER...
and YES!!!
Ding Dong! Purchased my 4th Tiger!
Wifey paid for it as my 2nd anniversary present! (Thanks Wifey!)

Ended the day with some snacks and coffee at TCC.

Sometimes back, i read up abt this cozy little jap cafe @ Ann Siang which offers very nice jap style cakes and most importantly, provides a very laid back place to chill and relax.

Went there a couple of times but could not get a table on either visit as there's only 4 tables, effectively meaning that they can only serve 8 customers @ any 1 time.

Tried my luck this afternoon after church and God Bless, the cafe was pretty lull..
Choose a nice seating just by the glass window and chose 2 cakes to try..
The name of the cakes are pretty chim.. so basically its Dark Chocolate
and water water chestnut cakes lah..

Wanted to try a couple more but too bad, we did not carry enough cash with us.
Anyway the cakes are niceeeeeeeeeeeee and delicious!!!
Not too sweet and the texture is just nice for me..
although price wise is a bit on the high side..

Would recommend this cafe to couples who wanna find some quiet place to chill out. :)

On a side note, I'm again very tempted to get a Vespa...
I can already imagine a Vanilla colour Vespa with Adidas stripes by the side..
