Naomi's upbringing 101

(1) Always reminding myself to educate Naomi, not yell or nag at her. If I myself find nagging/yelling irritating, would't it be even worse for my own child?

(2) Hygiene and manners are 2 aspects that I wanna drill into Naomi's mind since young.. Personal and toilet hygiene wise, still need improvements. Manners wise, need to exercise a fair bit of tough love to see more improvements.

Annual TangYuan Festival @ home!

Naomi is too excited with the mini Tang Yuan that she's making that she refuses to look at the camera! Love to engage her in this annual tradition that we have since young!

My lovely mum obviously very happy that Naomi took part in the making of the Tang Yuan for this year. A pity thou that Naomi din even have a single bite due to her cough.. oh well.. Next year then.. Nice Sunday spend at my parents place..
In fact, always looking forward to visiting my parents over the weekend! Woo!

Goodbye to my 50mm f1.2L

Sold off my most expensive lens today after posting on clubsnap yesterday morning.. Pretty efficient I would say.. Even though it's my most expensive lens to date, but to be honest, its not the 1st lens that I would go to if I wanna shoot with just one lens.. Most of the time, I would stick to my always reliable 35mm which is super light or my 17-40mm for that extra wide angle coverage.. My 50mm gives delicious bokeh but perhaps its just not meant to be. Of coz made some losses cos its already 3.5 years old but I figure that rather than collecting dust, better to just sell it to someone that needs it more than I do.

Joy of being on Leave

On leave for the rest of the week.. So really enjoying the time where I can send my little Naomi to school early in the morning and to fetch her home in the afternoon.. Not enjoying the sardine pack train rides but I'm simply loving the little moments that I have with Naomi. :) Oh.. and its good that I can also squeeze in some short workout during the late morning.. short workout cos i haven recovered completely.. but yup, getting to 100% health very soon.

Week in Pic

Little gal all grown up and nowadays she's insisting to sleep with me at night. Even though this new routine is making me skip my workout(I usually have a 40mins workout before i sleep) and making my 4 packs so much less visible, I think that its still very much worth it without a doubt! Love the little chit chat we have every night on my bed and these moments are just so priceless.. Loving my gal to the max! Time is precious, time is short.. make every secs count!

My rare sat morning ride.. did a 70+km ride and 1/4 of the ride was in the rain..damn pathetic but then again, rarely have a chance to ride with my buddies on sat so i still enjoy this wet ride!
And if time permits, I would love to do a short short overseas ride next year or so.(maybe 1 week Taiwan kinda thing)

Bowling with my little gal after dinner at my mums place! $2 briugs her so much joy.. Looking forward to bringing Naomi for a nite stay or 2 at my mum's place during her sch holidays! The folks will love it!

Loving the weekends!

Loving the weekends especially when Naomi gets to sleep in our room! Blessed to have little chit chat with her just before she KO for the night.. and amazing thing is that she will somehow reflect on the past days and she will say things like, Sorry papa, I bite the bottle cap just now or things like that... Almost everyday, this little gal of mine amazes me! 

And this is our sat morning just woke up look! and Naomi can spring from zzz to a chatter box within mins!

No matter how heavy or long the rain is gonna take... We know there will be sunshine after the rain.

if i have a wishing coin, i would want my love ones to be able to regain their good health...
