maiden trip to sentosa

Very rare that we are free on a Sat noon so decided to bring Naomi to Sentosa.

Outside the port of lost world

Parked at vivo before taking the monorail in..

feel quite mountain turtle... haha..

but i really miss the good old monorail.. the one with no air con..

Love it cos it makes u feel more in touch with nature and the best part is that it brings u to almost every part of sentosa..

Super convenient..

unlike now where the monorail looks like a mini MRT and brings you to only 4 places.. afterwhich its bus bus bus...

Anyway we took the 'mrt' to beach station..

Wanted to let Naomi have a feel of walking on the beach..

she kinda enjoy it but when the waves hit her legs..

she suddenly cried and cling close to me, wanting me to carry her..

tried to pacify her but i guess she is just a bit too overwhelmed by the waves...

so in the end we just walked a bit at the sandy beaches before going back home..

Oh... and Wifey have a mini cell group with some of the MG members..

i named them the 38 group... haha...

suppose to be sleeping now but somehow can't fall asleep..

some stuff have been going thru my mind...

colleagues who i regard as frds actually might just turn out to be colleagues only..

does a step higher in the corporate ladder changes things?

seriously, perhaps i shld not bother too much abt it.

but why is this keeping me awake?

sometimes i trust people too easily.

my 1st father's day!

Yeah..

This year is a very special Fathers' day for me in the sense that I myself is a father now!

Went to Vivo again. :) seems to be the venue for future papa/mama day celebration.. haha..
Wifey treated me to a wonderful lunch at Sushi Teh.. and I'm super surprised
that Naomi got a present for me. heehee.. of coz, paid for by Wifey...

Great Sunday we had.
Yup, Sunday shld be spend this way. :)

Great morning we had by having picnic at Botanical Gardens..

Weather was near perfect & company was as usual great!

Brought my camera along but only managed a few shots but there is this particular shot that 

really catches my interest.

Wanted to take a family pic of  Hock & Family and just before i pressed my shutter, there was a gush of wind that blew and flipped up one of the picnic mats which ended up with me having this shot instead.
Probably my normal reaction would be to delete this photo but as i looked at this pic, i suddenly thought of a Pastor telling me this...

It goes something like telling me that even when we have our own kids, we must remember to treasure and have a wonderful relationship with our spouse. All of our time cannot be taken up by our kids and couple life cannot only evolve ard the child.We need to remember that eventually our kids will have their own family and its only our spouse that will walk with us to the end of the road.
Real meaningful, i would say.

 Anyway i did took a decent family pic in the end. :)

Love & Happiness is when i wake up in the morning to see Naomi standing in her cot, smiling widely at me.

Love & Happiness is when i reached home early & Naomi speed crawl to me, pull herself up towards my knees & give me the sweetest little grin for me to 'bao bao' her.

Love & Happiness is when I reached home late during Naomi Zzz time and she gave me the wildest smiles & laughter when she sees me.

Love & Happiness is when Naomi pulls my hand towards her mouth and gave it a bite and laugh naughtily when i said 'ouch .. ouch'...

Without my wife, i won't experience all these.

quite amused that i've got some explaining to do over some issues in church yest...

caught me by surprise actually.

anyway it doesn't really bother me since i have a clear conscience.

probably just a bit annoyed that people don't come talk to me directly but yet talk behind my back..

Anyway, we had a father/mother day lunch with dad & mum at 'Fo You Yuen" vegetarian restaurant yesterday.

The restaurant is situated at Kitchener road just opposite City Sq.

Parked at city sq and actually its my first time to City Sq.. 

Quite pleasantly surprised that the shopping centre is pretty not bad.

Had a great lunch followed by some drinks at Toastbox before we left the place.

Then brought Naomi for a walk at Tras street before making our way to Red Dot Museum.

Took some lovely photos there before we made our way home.

Pretty good Sunday. :)

oh yes, it can be real dramatic!

& for dunno what reasons, Naomi have been waking up at 3+am for these few nights...

crying very badly and not wanting to sleep...

This is making wifey very very tired..

I need my baby to be Gina Ford routine trained!!!

Even my colleague's baby who is at 3 months now have a much healthier sleep pattern than Naomi now.. Colleague is a die hard supporter of the Gina Ford routine and now his 2 kids(3 yrs old & 3 months old) sleep at 8pm and slept thru till 8am!

envy envy envy!

Sure we can do it too!

Always looking forward to the weekends cos

weekends = little family bonding time

Weekends are the only time where we can don't think abt work and 

have much of the sat/sun for the 3 of us. :)

Really treasure these moments..

Yesterday brought Naomi to Pasir Ris farmway to look at puppies.

Her first interaction with dogs and I can see that she's pretty excited and happy to see the dogs.

Since Naomi is still young and I'm pretty concern on the health of the dogs, we decided to maintain a safety distance between Naomi & the dogs.

Quite cute to see Naomi reaction on seeing the dogs...

She stared at them, and then looked at me and go 'hu hu hu'.. 

Super cute.. I've uploaded the video in facebook.. so yup, can check it out.

It suddenly struck me yesterday that Naomi is such a big gal now...

Even at 7 months(next week), I think she is growing at a alarming rate..

Such a sweet and cute little baby now and I really wish i can freeze the time now and just enjoy these moments.

Every morning and nite time, seeing her standing in her cot smiling cheekily at me... 

totally makes my heart melts...

(somehow i think i'm gonna be bullied by Naomi in future)

Yes, i took a couple of photos every now & then.. and also some videos..

but still, can someone make me a time machine!

Daddy & Mummy loves you so much, Naomi!

there are things which i ALWAYS dun understand & which i dun think i will get to understand at all...

Oh a sidenote, this special term is too slack..

yes, too too slack till i have a presentation on Tues and I'm damn free but planning to do it only on Sunday nite.
