Communication is a 2 way kinda thing. If one speaks and the other starts to get defensive then u know its gonna get ugly.. and I call that noise... and I dislike noise.

No Dementia! Yeah!

Took half day parent care leave to bring my dad for his medical appointment at CGH. Did a blood test and reviewed the brain scan report.. God blessed that the Doc mentioned that there's no abnormalities with the brain, no stroke symptom..etc.. and his forgetfulness is not due to dementia which we suspected that he might be suffering from.. So no dementia! Doc advised my dad to get out of the house more often, do some light exercise and basically, just use the brain more actively lah... Hope that my dad listens to his advice thou..
Next visit in July!

This was the umpire chair where I used to sit when i was still in Primary school.. Always playing badminton, soccer or sepak Takraw at the same old court.. brings back good old memory..

1st full workweek passed by just like that.. Its been a busy workweek esp with the recent merger.. Pretty challenging for me as I'm out of my comfort zone but I'm taking it pretty positively and is actually enjoying the "on job training" now. Good to get some hands on to learn and make sure that things work! Next week is gonna be another crazy week with a couple of presentation slides to be done up.. No matter what, gotta do some balancing to ensure that family life isn't too affected!

Shopping Queen

We usually buy toys for Naomi only during her birthday and sometimes children's day. Today was special in the sense that we already promised to get her some toys only if she is willing to pass motion in the potty. Hmm.. We don't totally agree on using the reward system for Naomi but we kinda have no choice this time round.. Reason being Naomi totally couldn't pass motion using the potty and for whatever reasons, she always insist to have her diapers on whenever she feels the need to poo... These have been ongoing for months... and its only when we recently promised to get her a sushi toy set then we managed to get her to poo in the potty.. Again, we need to give her lotsa encouragement, together with the promise for the sushi set before she managed to finally mark her spot on the potty! No more diapers for Pee & Poo, baby!

Old school fishing! Not easy.. I had much difficulty trying to fish out the octopus too!

Not very budget toys.. but heng there's 20% discount plus its good wood quality so I'm sure it can last for quite a while.
