There are times when Naomi just looks at me with this kinda puppy eyes that I just can't help but to carry her up!

Brought Naomi to Chinatown for Lantern viewing yesterday!

The lanterns that were lined up along the stretch of Chinatown was very uniform and pretty nice,

 but thats abt it.

Could be better with more variety.

But its nice to soak in the atmosphere and I bought a rabbit old school lantern for Naomi.

Everything is old school except for the LED that replaced the traditional candle.

I don't think Naomi have much love for the lantern although she gamely held on to it for quite some time. haha

Its been a real joy having Naomi automatically resting her head on my tummy or thighs 

when she wants to Zzz....

Such moments can't be bought.. simply priceless!

And so we have been trying to teach Naomi to point out body parts such as 

eyes, nose, mouth, ear.

When either Miao or I carry her and ask, where is daddy/mummy ear, she was able to almost point out all those parts that we mentioned correctly.

And normally Naomi likes to play with the buttons on my polo tee when i carry her till she is able to identify and point to the buttons when I asked her where are the buttons..

As usual, this morning while I was carrying her, I asked "Naomi, where are the buttons?" but this time round she din reached for my polo tee buttons but she pointed to her tummy?!?!

Damn funny cos i think she is confused by buttons and belly button.

Naomi also knows how to clap, pan kiss(seriously i dunno how this word comes abt), wave goodbye and give a high 5!

And when I hold her hands and tell her " Naomi, show daddy how u stand up?" She will stand up and I will let go of my hand. She will be super smiley, looking at me proudly before falling on her butt after 5-6 sec.

did my longest cycle last week..

Can't recall how many km but basically we moved off at 9pm and completed the route at 330am!

My thighs are still aching now but frankly speaking, I am quite comfortable with the pace... 

Falling in love with cycling cos basically it really brings me to places & lanes where normally I don't go to.

Looking forward to my long dist ride on the 15th!

Naomi, Daddy feels your pain...

Its been a busy 2 week.

Busy with group project and preparation of quiz.

Sacrificed my weekly cycling and me-time with Naomi/Wifey in the process.

God Bless that I'm able to do most of the quiz qns and as for grp project, even though we have team mates that din contribute much(or any), we do have other Onz team mates to take care of most of our research and slides. God Bless.

And so I am looking forward to 

(1) this sat morning cycling session with my buddies.

(2) Weekend bonding time with Wifey & Naomi

(3) Perhaps a short cycling session with Church mates on sun late afternoon.

Oh.. and wanted to zhing my bike rims today but unfortunately its out of stock, so gotta wait for abt 2 weeks.

Gotta get it changed before my long long ride on the 15th Oct!

Suspecting that she might have caught the flu bug from me..

its been a rough week so far and i dun see it getting better..

at home & Naomi is suddenly not sleeping well.. refusing to sleep at 9pm.. will cry for attention till 12 before she Zzz.. seriously dunno why.. hope she gets better.. sick or not, i can't tell.

at sch & i find my 'engine' not starting yet even though i am into the 2nd month of this sem..

RF comms sucks big time and there is a quiz on tues..

The expectation of group proj is also huge.. doesn't help when u have passive team members... and presentation is scheduled for next week where the sicko lecturer is expecting us to gather direct feedback via gladiator style. sicko!

at work and my new boss is 'questioning' me why I'm going to site on certain days..

seriously.. i am sure the whole office knew that i am doing part time studies...

and my previous bosses have been accommodating as long as my work performance is not affected..

and seriously what is the point of attending meetings after meetings???

not complaining if i am paid just to attend meetings and nothing else.

tmr will be a better day.

and return trip..

I would say the toughest ride is the uphill part from along Changi V!

Celebrated my 34th Birthday at HOUSE today.

:)

1st time having Naomi to celebrate with us so its kinda special in a way even though its a challenge feeding Naomi in public nowadays.. haha..
Naomi is a darling at home when it comes to feeding and she'll be happily sitting in her baby chair waiting to be fed but when she's outside, she gets excited by the surrounding rather easily and so we'll need almost twice the effort for her to finish up her porridge.
Anyway no complaints, these are just the phases of growing up!
