As you all know, our new place is nicely renovated and in a move in condition but due to my part time studies commitment, we will only be shifting in by late 2013 or maybe early 2014. It now mainly serves as a party/gathering place or a study area for me during exams.

Backtrack to few months back when we heard that Lian will be doing her confinement at Malaysia immediately after giving birth in Singapore due to living space constraint in her current shared apartment. We were thinking that it's gonna be super xin ku to travel hrs to Malaysia after a delivery with a newborn and if Lian were to do her confinement in Malaysia, this means that Louis will only get to see his daughter every weekend. As parents ourselves, Miao and I thought that it's really important for the husband to be around the wife during the confinement period as this is the time where the wife could highly possible get into depression when the baby keeps crying & crying. Well, we went thru this before & I am glad that I could support Wifey during this period of time.

So with this, we offered Lian & Louis to stay at our new place during her confinement period. I think this arrangement will be good for her as she don't have to travel so far after delivery, Louis will be able to help out and see Lian and their daughter everyday.

And so yup, rec a msg that Lian have accepted our offer. So what's left is to find a day to give our place a good clean and it will be a nice confinement place.
