Booked tixs for Bangkok Trip from 11-15 Jan and now the anti govt are gonna shut down Bangkok on the 13th Jan?!?!?! Did quite a fair bit of readup and realised that this is the BIGGEST protest of all times and that as of yest, 20 intersections will be closed with rally pts set up. Only 1 lane will be opened to the public so traffic is gonna be crazy for sure.. Even tho the spokeman claimed that airport and public transport will not be closed, but who knows... Also read that the 'red shirt' will be protesting against the anti govt and there are possibilities that they will also be marching into Bangkok and IF this happens, i really foresee bloodshed similar to the one that happen years back.. 2010 i think?
