Self Reminder

I find the following statement very meaningful to me as a form of reminder. Information was from the book called "The relationship Principles of Jesus" by Tom Holladay.

Place the highest value on relationship! Not on money, but on relationships... Not on time, but on relationships... Not on your work, but on relationships. To be honest, how many of us really practise this? Money may be important but is it really that important? The same goes for work, yes we wish to deliver our very best to the work that's handed to us... but in terms of work life balance, is it really balanced?
Life is never complete without relation but having said that, a lot of things takes 2 hands to clap tho..

There is a difference between what we think we should value and what we truly value. Enough said, just think abt it. :) Isn't it just so easy to say what you value but yet the daily thoughts and behavior speaks differently? At times, I'm guilty too.

A healthy relationship with God and healthy relationships with others have the power to keep our commitments to the things and the tasks in our lives from getting out of balance.
